Brooklyn Friends School Fundraising to Assist Haiyan Survivors

In response to the typhoon that struck the Samar and Leyte provinces in the Philippines last month, the Brooklyn Friends School community held a bake sale today. Baked goods were made and donated by Preschool through Upper School students as well as faculty and staff. The bake sale raised $208 for mosquito nets to be distributed to children in the Samar province whose homes were lost during the typhoon.
