Students of Urdaneta Elementary School in Northern Samar received several computers from IIP to add to their new computer laboratory. The digital divide across the Philippines is pronounced especially in rural provinces like Samar. Most schools have no access to technology and exemplifies a dangerous disparity in the country. IIP believes that children in rural areas must access basic technical courses and supplemental materials to help them ramp up and be successful.
